WHO WE ARE
Virginians for Better Transportation (VBT) is a diverse and expanding advocacy group working to implement statewide, multi-modal transportation solutions through increased, dedicated and sustainable funding and responsible business practices. VBT is conducting a public awareness campaign to educate Virginians about the Commonwealth's transportation funding challenges and the essential role transportation plays in the quality of life of all citizens. It's time for a comprehensive, long-term solution.

“The transportation funding issue is important to me because Virginia’s workers need to have improved transportation systems to cut down on commute time, thus allowing them more time to spend with their families. Further, improved transportation will enhance the Commonwealth’s ability to attract and retain new industries.

“As president of the 200,000 member labor federation in Virginia, it is my responsibility to serve on high profile boards and commissions to ensure that working families are addressed.”

Daniel is a journeyman tool and die maker by trade. He is a U.S. Army veteran and has been active in community affairs and political campaigns for more than three decades.

Daniel and his wife, Mary, live in Henrico County and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
