“The ability to move people, goods and services throughout the Commonwealth is crucial to Virginia’s economy and its future economic viability. VBT understands that Virginia’s growing transportation needs have outstripped the state’s ability to meet them. We need a multi-modal plan – supported statewide – that gets us back on track.”

Jim serves on the boards of directors of the Richmond Convention & Visitors Bureau, Greater Richmond Partnership, the Children’s Museum of Richmond, the Virginia Council on Economic Education, the Virginia Center for Healthy Communities and on both the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University Business School Advisory Boards.

Jim is married to Sally and has three children and four grandchildren.
